Proulx named PRMS November Youth Optimist of the Month

The Prairie River Youth Optimist of the Month for November, Andrew Proulx, was nominated by his eighth grade teacher, Mrs. Rindt.
Mrs. Rindt comments, “Andrew s a student who always has a positive attitude. He is a great role model both inside and outside the classroom. He comes to class each day eager to learn and makes sure he has mastered all concepts. “Andrew fully participates in class activities, contributes to class discussions and asks good questions. Andrew is kind, thoughtful and helpful to others and will always choose to do what is right. Andrew is a well-rounded student who demonstrates great leadership qualities.”
The son of Kristina and Andrew Proulx, Andrew is a member of the PRMS band and has earned many awards throughout his time at the middle school including Band Honors, Citizen of the Year, Musician of the Month, High Academic Honors and Student of the Quarter.
In our community, Andrew has rang bells for the Salvation Army for three years. Andrew describes himself as someone with a positive attitude, friendly, helpful and likes to inspire others.
