Vicky J. Robinson age 71 of Dayton, MN passed away on September 30th, 2025. She was born January 7, 1954 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to Richard & Elsie Swanson.

Vicky's journey began as a labor and delivery nurse, a career that spanned several decades at Abbott Northwestern. Her nurturing spirit and skilled hands helped bring countless new lives into the world, providing comfort and care to many families during one of the most significant moments of their lives.

She was a talented baker, known for her homemade dog treats that were eagerly anticipated by her faithful companion, grand-dogs and the neighborhood canines alike.

She had a passion for backgammon, a game that not only provided her with hours of enjoyment but also led her to meet her husband James in an online match. The couple shared many adventures, including memorable trips to Las Vegas. Vicky also enjoyed family trips to Disney World and was often seen with a crossword puzzle in hand.

Vicky's love for British television was infectious, with shows like The Great British Bakeoff and Top Chef being her favorites. Her grandkids will tell you that Vicky's love for "Is it Cake?" was no crumbly affair. She had them hooked on the show, and now they're left asking their parents to watch it in her honor—proof that her influence was as sweet as the confections on the screen.

In her personal life, Vicky was a devoted mother, grandmother, and a friend to many. Though preceded in death by her beloved husband James, her first husband Leon Robinson, her infant son Samuel Robinson, her sisters Roxanne Geiger and Heidi Qiabi, and her parents, her legacy continues through her loving family. She is survived by her children, Christina (Bill) Gleason and Nicholas (Gianna) Robinson, and grandchildren, Jack and Kennedy, who brought immense joy to her later years. Vicky's faithful dog, Cindy, was a constant companion, and she was an aunt and relative to many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A Celebration of Vicky’s life will be held at Kozlak-Radulovich Chapel in Maple Grove, MN (763-416-0016) on Thursday, October 9th, 2025 from 4-7 PM with a Time of Remembrance at 6 PM.
