Riverside Athletic Club announces the sixth annual Run United 10K, 5K and 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, May 3 at 9 a.m. with the start/finish line at its location at 500 S. Center Ave. in Merrill.
“Run United benefits the Merrill Area United Way and the 21 programs they fund throughout the Merrill area,” says Paul Kienitz, Riverside Athletic Club owner. “Our race is one way to help more people become involved in fitness and to support the good work Merrill Area United Way does for our community. We are proud to have people coming from all over the state to participate in the race.
“We are excited to be running the course through beautiful Merrill downtown area.” added Kienitz. “In addition, we are going to be starting the race at 9 a.m. and we are going to have Chip Timing this year.”
“We are pleased to add online registration for all of our runners this year. Participants can register online by visiting our website www.riversideathletic.com.” says Becci Shuman, Riverside Athletic Club Member Services. “This will make registering easier for our participants. We are thrilled to be partnering with Parisi Speed School, the Merrill Fire Department, Ministry Medical, and of course, the Merrill United Way, to name a few. We invite other area business to participate as well.
