MHS student groups sponsor cancer benefit

The Merrill High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) group along with Future Farmers of America (FFA) are planning a Cancer Benefit on Jan. 20 at 7 p.m. at the Merrill High School Auditorium.

The purpose of the benefit is to raise money, but also to bring happiness and joy to the community. All the money goes to helping find a cure for cancer.

A variety of students and speakers will be performing for the community. In addition, raffle tickets will be available. Sponsors towards these raffle items include Napa Auto Parts, Ace Hardware, Culvers, Waves, Stifel Nicolaus, Covantage Credit Union, LA Salon, and Merrill Veterinary Clinic.

Prices are $4 adults/$3 students/senior citizens $2/kids ages 5 and under are free.
