SVDP celebrates a successful annual fund drive

The Annual Fund Drive for St. Vincent de Paul (SVD) Conference of Merrill brought in $78,315. According to Sue Norenberg, Director of Operations, corporate donors contributed $36,000 to the Annual Matching Fund Campaign. Corporate donors included Connexus Credit Union, Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross, the family of Nick and Kathy Laphen, and an anonymous donor.
“Thanks to the donors’ generosity, 170 donors contributed $42,315,” Norenberg said. She added that SVDP is seeing an increase in individuals looking for help this winter.”
