The Northwoods Veterans Post is planning a free meal to honor Lincoln County Veterans this Veteran’s Day, Nov. 11, 2023.
“This is a first-class meal that we are attempting to get paid for by donations,” said Steve Sabatke, a member of AMVETS Post 2000, VFW Post 10203, and Treasurer of the Lincoln County Veterans Council. He said he already has a substantial donation and hopes others will come forward to help support this worthy cause.
“This dinner is open to all Lincoln County veterans or active duty members and one guest. Join your fellow neighbors who served their country for a first class meal and casual conversation,” he said.
Reservations are REQUIRED and space is limited to the first 150 to make a reservation. To reserve a space at the dinner, call Bill Burcalow at 715.612.7118 or email him at [email protected] with your name and the name of your guest. Or make your reservation in person at the Northwoods Veterans Post. Reservations will be accepted until Nov. 4, 2023, or until the 150 available spots are filled.
The free Veterans Day meal will be held at the Northwoods Veterans Post on Nov. 11 at 6 p.m.
