Merrill Bluejays Varsity Girls Swim Team scores another win

The ladies from Lakeland Union High School traveled to Merrill to compete against the Merrill Girls Varsity Swim Team at the Prairie River Middle School (PRMS) pool on Oct. 10, 2023. The Merrill Lady Bluejays once again had a great meet, taking first place in nine events. They also took second place in seven events.
The Merrill Girls took first place in:
Event 2. 200 Yard Medley Relay, with Addison Jirovec, Olivia Pajtash, Marissa Miles, and Claire Jirovec coming in with a time of 2;04.14.
Event 6. 200 Yard IM, with Olivia Pajtash coming in at 2:33.12.
Event 8. 50 Yard Freestyle, with Claire Jirovec coming in at 27.89
Event 10. 100 Yard Butterfly, with Marissa Miles coming in at 1:05.43.
Event 14. 500 Yard Freestyle, with Olivia Pajtash coming in at 5:53.51.
Event 16. 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, with Claire Jirovec, Emily Winter, Brenna Jirovec, and Melissa Miles coming in with a time of 1:53.99.
Event 18. 100 Yard Backstroke, with Addison Jirovec coming in at 1:08.40.
Event 20. 100 Yard Breaststroke, with Marissa Miles coming in at 1:17.89.
Event 22. 400 Yard Freestyle Relay, with Oliva Pajtash, Emily Winter, Caroline Durbin, and Addison Jirovec coming in with a time of 4:25.89.
