The Merrill Park & Recreation Department held their 40th annual Colorama Bike Tour this past Saturday, Sept. 23, beginning at Kitchenette Park in Merrill. Participants could choose to register for a 10-, 30-, or 50-mile ride. It was a great opportunity to enjoy the Merrill area’s beautiful changing colors, though the colors were a bit muted due to the rain and clouds. Still, bikers enjoyed the opportunity to get outdoors in the Northwoods on an early autumn Saturday morning.
A light lunch was served at the Smith Center in the Merrill Area Recreation Complex around midday.
