Krueger selected to University of Minnesota Twin Cities Dean’s List

Casey Krueger of Merrill, a Senior at the College of Liberal Arts, was named to the 2022 fall semester Dean’s List at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must complete 12 or more letter-graded credits while attaining a 3.66 grade point average.

Hall graduates from Northwood Technical College

Northwood Technical College congratulates Dakota Hall of Merrill a Class of 2022 Fall graduate, who received his Technical Diploma as a Marine Repair Technician.
The College awarded associate degrees and one- and two-year technical diplomas in ceremonies held at all four campus locations. Northwood Technical College is a nationally top-ranked college and designated Silver 2022-23 Military Friendly(r) School with campuses in Ashland, New Richmond, Rice Lake, and Superior and outreach centers in Hayward, Ladysmith, and Balsam Lake, along with a Health Education Center in Shell Lake.

Krueger of Merrill named one of four Women’s Basketball Players on CSC Academic All-District Team

Courtney Krueger of Merrill was one of four players named to the College Sports Communicators (former CoSIDA) Academic All-District Team. This is her first academic All-District honor. Krueger was a starter in all 25 games for the Pointers this season and averaged 6.5 points per game. She led the team with 31 steals and was second on the team with 49 assists.
To be nominated for this honor, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution. Krueger is a Sophomore at UW-Stevens Point.

Hinner named to MSOE Dean’s List for winter quarter 2023

Robert Hinner from Merrill, was named to the Milwaukee School of Engineering’s Dean’s List for the 2023 Winter Quarter. Hinner is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.
Undergraduate students who have earned at least 30 credits and have a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher (out of 4.0) are on the Dean’s List. Students who have maintained a 3.70 or higher receive “high honors.”
