Tractor Supply Company announced the new store in Merrill will open July 30, 2022.
Self-described as a “rural lifestyle retailer,” Merrill’s newest large retailer, located at 3404 E. Main St. in the former Piggly Wiggly building, includes a new greenhouse, propane station, and other amenities. Store hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sundays, and the store will also offer a “Buy Online, Pickup In Store” option with pickup times in as little as one hour, either in the store or through contact-free curbside pickup.
“Tractor Supply Company is excited to bring a new store to serve and meet the needs of the Merrill community,” a press release from the Brentwood, Tenn., corporate office said,
“At Tractor Supply, we understand the value of providing essential needs like pet food, animal feed, and home supplies to our customers in the Merrill community,” said Brenda Davis, Manager of the Merrill Tractor Supply store. “Our team members live the same lifestyle as our customers, and we’re excited to supply them with the tools, information, and resources they need to live life on their own terms.”
In reference to the rural lifestyle, Tractor Supply also uses the phrase “Life Out Here” and offers “essential, everyday products” that rural customers need.
“The Merrill Tractor Supply will provide a one-stop shop for the community, serving farmers, livestock and pet owners, ranchers, part-time and hobby farmers, gardeners, homeowners, tradesmen and others,” the release said. Products include pet and animal feed and supplies, propane tanks, fencing, cleaning supplies, gloves, garden supplies, home supplies, some food items, name brands including Purina, Carhartt, Blue Buffalo, and Hobart, as well as Tractor Supply exclusive products, and much more.
“In addition to supplying dependable products for farm, ranch and rural customers, the Merrill Tractor Supply Company values community engagement and is delighted to have the opportunity to support local animal shelters, area 4-H clubs and FFA chapters, and more,” the release said.
