Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City
Rated R – for language, gore, and violence

Well, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City is what it is, a reboot of the film franchise that is based on the wildly popular video game series and, as mentioned, it is what it is.

Evil pharmaceutical corporation (aren’t they all?) does evil experiments on orphans and creates an evil super-nasty serum that makes people turn into flesh eating super zombies.

Ya, I feel ya. I feel dumber for even watching this film. Seriously, as the film progressed, I could feel my IQ dropping.
As to a plot, well, at least they made a half-hearted, if not misguided, attempt to have a plot, but let’s be honest, this film is made solely for the gore factor. And plot holes? Oh, ya, let me tell you true – I could drive a semi-truck through some of those bad boys, they were so big.

Cast with impossibly pretty actors doing their best to justify getting paid for doing this movie, there really isn’t much to talk about with this one.

One star [out of five stars] for this one, folks. Take a hard pass and go watch paint dry. It will be more entertaining.
