VFW Post 1638 held a ceremony honoring all veterans at 11:00 a.m. on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2021, at the Cenotaph Memorial Park on 301 Grand Ave, Merrill. Despite the cold and rain, some citizens came out to see the ceremony and listen to the words of Paul Russell and Brigadier General Covington (pictured). Thank you to all of our Veterans! You are the reason we live in a free country, and we deeply appreciate your service.
