07-12-2021
At 10:55 a.m. an officer responded to a residence for a report of a theft. It was found that a female party had the registration stickers stolen from her vehicle’s license plate. The investigation is ongoing.
At 4:52 p.m. officers responded to a report of one male party who made threats to another male party at a residence. The suspect left the residence prior to the officers’ arrival. It was reported that the suspect had made death threats to the other male. The investigation is ongoing.

At 11:19 p.m. officers responded to a residence for a report of a suspicious person that had entered the reporting parties’ residence. The reporting parties stated a tall, thin male party had entered their house and by accident. The reporting parties were able to get the male to leave after he apologized. Officers were unable to locate the male party who had entered the residence.
07-14-2021
At 4:49 p.m. an officer responded to a local pharmacy to investigate a possible fraudulent prescription request being received. The investigating officer is attempting to determine the origin of the prescription request.
At 5:17 p.m. officers responded to the 1700 block of East Main St. for a reported domestic incident. The caller reported her husband was drunk and was throwing things in the house. Officers spoke with parties involved and learned the male party involved was angry with a tobacco rolling machine and was throwing rolling papers. The male decided to leave for the evening prior to officers departure.

At 7:16 a.m. officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Lake Street in reference to a wanted person. Officers located the male party at a residence and he was taken into custody for a Probation Warrant.
07-16-2021
At 12:33 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop on a male party after he was found to have a warrant through Lincoln County. The male party was arrested on the warrant and, while being placed in handcuffs, admitted to having drugs on his person and in his vehicle. The officer located methamphetamine on his person, and marijuana inside the party’s vehicle. The male was arrested for the warrant, felony bail jumping, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of THC, and possession of methamphetamine.
At 9:34 p.m. officers were dispatched to a report of a verbal argument between neighbors. Officers were able to determine that multiple parties were in a verbal argument. All parties involved were given a verbal warning for disorderly conduct.
07-17-2021
At 7:00 p.m. an officer was dispatched to a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of W. Main St. and Prospect St. The investigation determined that the driver of the striking vehicle was distracted, which caused the collision. The driver of the striking vehicle was also found to not have insurance on the vehicle. The party was cited for the violation.
At 8:17 p.m. an officer responded to a local department store for a shoplifting complaint. The reporting party stated a female had exited the business with a bag full of merchandise which she did not pay for. Officers attempted to locate the vehicle and the parties involved but were unsuccessful. The investigation is ongoing.
At 9:37 p.m. officers responded to a factory after a security guard called in a report of a burglary that had just occurred. Officers arrived and checked the building for the suspect but did not locate anyone. The investigation is ongoing.
At 10:46 p.m. officers responded to a suspicious person complaint in the city in reference to a female party who was “freaking out” and suspected to be under the influence. Officers were able to locate the female party, who was found to have a warrant. The female was inside a residence, and the property owner eventually allowed officers to enter the residence. The female was resistive with officers while attempting the arrest. The female was eventually placed under arrest and taken to jail on the warrant, as well as charges of disorderly conduct, and resisting an officer.
07-18-2021
At 9:19 p.m., officers responded to a residence after a female party called 911 crying. Officers arrived and it was determined that the male party had a bond condition to not have contact with the female. The female also reported a domestic incident that had occurred prior to officer’s arrival. The male party was arrested on charges of bail jumping, domestic disorderly conduct, domestic battery, and physical abuse of a child.
