Erio L. Olivotti, age 75, of Irma, WI, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice Services. He was born December 24, 1945, in Merrill, WI, to the late Evo and Helen (Anderson) Olivotti. Erio grew up in Merrill where he was a1964 graduate of Merrill High School. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Irma. He was also a member of the Eagles Club, a member of the Silver Min Merrill, and the Lincoln County Rod and Gun Club. Erio spent many summers at Tug Lake and his winters in Florida. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, spending time in nature, and watching wildlife.
Survivors include his wife, Lillie Olivotti; his daughters, Danielle (Kyle) Close, and Andrine Townsend; his stepdaughter, Kathy McManus; his brother, Dave (Ann )Olivotti; his sisters, Sally (Glen) Due, Gwen Olivotti, Debra (Todd) Kretzschmar, Linda (Joel) Jensky, and Jeanne Olivotti. He is further survived by his four grandchildren, Maysa Townsend, Thatcher Townsend, Adam Close, and Cait Close. Erio was preceded in death by his sister, Diane; and his parents, Evo and Helen.
