The Wisconsin Kids Snowmobile Racing Association (WKSRA) held their end-of-the-year award’s Banquet on April 17, 2021, at The Stoney Creek Motel and Conference Center in Wausau. The Strand Race Team had another awesome year, with brothers Trentyn and Tavyn achieving several accomplishments and awards. Trentyn, age 12, was awarded 120 High Octane and Series Champ, while Tavyn, age 8, brought home Kitty Cat High Octane, Series Champ, Driver of The Year, and High Points Awards. Trentyn is a sixth grader at Prairie River Middle School while Tavyn is a third grader at Washington Elementary School. The boys are the sons of Nathan and Leah Strand and grandsons of Mark Kanitz, all of Merrill.
