Olivia Pajtash was named Prairie River Middle School (PRMS) Youth Optimist of the month for January 2021. She was nominated by Ms. Becky Rindt.
“Olivia is an outstanding student who works to achieve excellence in her academics on a daily basis,” Ms. Rindt said in her nomination. “She always has a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn. Olivia is a great advocate for herself and always asks questions when she needs clarification. She is very motivated to succeed in everything she does. Olivia is kind, honest, and helpful to others. She always chooses to do what is right. Olivia demonstrates great leadership skills both inside and outside the classroom.”
At school, Olivia is involved in Student Council and is on the Swim Team. She was also chosen to be a web leader, but wasn’t able to participate due to COVID. She has been Citizen of the Year, Student of the Quarter, and on the Honor Roll. She volunteers with Make a Difference Day, Lunch in the Park, and as a Sunday School Nursery helper at her church. Her strong leadership, honesty, and focus on working hard are some of her personal strengths.
Olivia is the daughter of Stephannie Pajtash and Seth Pajtash of Merrill.
