Washington Elementary School fourth grader, Moses Gates, was named Student of the Week for the week of Feb. 11. Moses is the son of Megan Douglas and Benjamin Gates.
His teacher, Lisa Hass, nominated him saying, “Moses is a wonderful student who works hard in everything he does. Moses is kind and friendly to all his classmates. He joined our class this year after moving to Wisconsin from California and has been a very welcome addition!”
Moses’ favorite subject in school is math. “I like math because I am good at it,” he said. His favorite part of school is the Podcast. “I like the Podcast because it is fun,” Moses said. When he grows up, “I would like to be a football, player because I want to be a professional sports player,” he said.
