01-12-21
At 3:54 a.m., officers responded to a reported domestic incident. As a result of the investigation it was determined that the male party involved had a warrant. The male was arrested on the warrant as well as charges of battery and bail jumping.

01-13-21
At 5:36 p.m., a caller reported finding a suspicious male inside an apartment complex possibly attempting to go through tenant’s mail. One tenant reported the man left in a white SUV and another stated the man had left on a bicycle.

01/14/21
At 10:56 a.m., a local business reported that they had someone pass a check that had insufficient funds and then returned a couple of days later to return the items. The checks were found to be stolen from another individual. The investigation is ongoing.

At 10:38 p.m., officers responded to a report of a two vehicle crash at the intersection of West Main Street and Cottage Street. During the course of the investigation, the operator of the one vehicle displayed signs indicative of impairment and was placed through field sobriety tests. Based off of those tests, the driver was arrested for 1st offense OWI. The operator was cited for OWI 1st offense and also cited for failure to yield right away.

At 8:19 a.m., an officer responded to a hit and run vehicle crash. The striking vehicle was said to be a white colored minivan that drove off after hitting another vehicle in a parking lot. The investigation is ongoing.

01-16-2021
At 6:43 p.m., officers responded to a residence for a report of a domestic disturbance. As a result of an investigation, a female was arrested for domestic related disorderly conduct.

At 10:42 p.m., officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. An investigation revealed that a male battered a female. The male was arrested for domestic related battery and disorderly conduct.

01-17-2021
At 11:47 p.m., officers responded to a report of an upstairs neighbor playing loud music. Officers made contact with the downstairs tenant. They stated that the tenant upstairs took items from their freezer located on the porch and threw them all over the yard. The items were located and returned to the freezer by the downstairs tenant. The downstairs tenant also stated that the tenant upstairs was refusing to turn down their music. Officers attempted contact with the upstairs neighbor but they refused to answer the door. Officers will continue to attempt contact with the upstairs tenant until the situation can be resolved.
