As part of its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 16, the MAPS Board of Education approved donations totaling $1,490.00:
• Four $100 County Market gift cards from an anonymous donor valued at a total of $400.00 for providing Thanksgiving dinners to families in need at Kate Goodrich Elementary;
• A check from Gress Chiropractic valued at $1,000.00 to assist with any financial needs or purchases for Merrill High School athletes and programs;
• Funds from Marie Rein valued at $30.00 for purchasing two books for the Washington School Library in memory of Aaron Hatz (1961-2020) and Peggy Lee Krombholtz (1961-2020), two former Washington students; and,
• Legal business envelopes from Pat Kloske valued at $60.00 for use in the Merrill School District.
