Darlene Heimerl, age 55, of Merrill, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, with her loving family by her side. She was born on January 14, 1965 to the late Paul and Julia (Nunlen) Billips in Gary, Indiana. Darlene met the love of her life, Robert Heimerl, and the two lovingly exchanged marriage vows on November 26, 2003 in Rapid City, South Dakota. He survives. She attended Lake Station High School in Indiana and went on further her education by taking another 2 years of college, to help with her accounting career. Darlene was an accountant assistant in Indiana for many years, a job that she was very good at. She looked forward to the next RV camping trip, as well as boating and spending time on the water with family and friends. Darlene had a love for Willy Jeeps. She was a caring and funny woman that had an infectious smile that could light up a room. Darlene loved making people laugh. She adored her little Schnauzer girl, Gracie Mae. Darlene will be sadly missed, but in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
Darlene is survived by her husband: Robert Heimerl, her 3 daughters: Nicole, Michelle and Amber Joseph, grandchildren: Jared, Savannah, Dylan, Maliki and Isaiah, Majesty, sister: Beverly (Steve) Yoho and her precious miniature schnauzer: Gracie Mae Heimerl. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Per family’s request, no services will be held for Darlene.
