The use of off road vehicles is restricted, yet the Rec. Deputy often finds hunters traveling beyond the boundaries to get to their stands. The use of permanent stands is prohibited on county land as are stands which cause damage when they are attached to a tree, or hunters who use spikes nailed into trees. The Rec. Deputy will be patrolling throughout the nine day hunt. Further, you are reminded you make sure you have fresh batteries for your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors before heading out to the cabin for hunting.
