In an effort to keep the Merrill community informed of plans for our Thrift Store, we are announcing the store will be opening for a 3-day Super Sale on Thursday Aug. 6-Saturday Aug.8. Because the store is well stocked, we are unable to take in additional items at this time. We hope to resume intake at a future date.
Our goal of restructuring the store operations for a successful future remains in place and the August sale is just a first step in that process. Limited day monthly sales, like the August event, are one possibility going forward. We continue to assess our options to determine the final form it will take, and we will continue to keep the community informed.
As a reminder, St. Vinny’s Outreach Office, under the direction of Sue Norenberg and located at the Menard Center , remains in full operation and is continuing to provide all services to those in need in the Merrill Community. Household and clothing items required by local residents in need, are still available from the Thrift Store inventory for those who qualify through Sue at the Outreach office.
