The Lincoln County Forestry, Land and Parks department is revising the 15 Year Comprehensive Land Use Plan (2021-2035). This plan guides the management of the Lincoln County Forest and the recreation programs administered by this department. Draft chapters of the plan were brought to regularly scheduled monthly meetings of the Forestry committee over the past year.
The draft Plan is available for review on the Lincoln County website. https://co.lincoln.wi.us/forestry-land-and-parks . Comments can be made on the on-line comment form or mailed. The deadline for comments is August 21, 2020.
Due to COVID-19, we encourage the use of the electronic on-line draft of the Plan. However, a paper copy can be made available upon request at the Forestry office, please call ahead.
