MHS Special Education teacher Mrs. Bethany Martinovici has been awarded the first quarter Bluejay Star Award of the 2019-2020 School year. According to nominations received on Martinovici’s behalf;
“Bethany is one of the most helpful and insightful persons that I have ever met. Bethany is always willing to help, even when it means that she has to work extra hours or stay up later at night. Bethany is a listening ear for so many at our high school, not just staff, but for students also. She holds such high expectations, communicates well, and shows students respect. This shows the student body that she is caring for not only their education but their lives outside of school.”
“Mrs. Martinovici is the epitome of a Bluejay Star. She is also a wonderful teacher. She treats her students with respect, has high standards, and is able to remain level headed and calm in tough circumstances. She is adaptable, caring and generous – definitely a BlueJay Star.”
“Congratulations to Bethany and thanks for being a role model for everyone in the organization, staff and students.” adds MAPS Superintendent Dr. John Sample.
