Rich Verano is the new pastoral apprentice at Bible Presbyterian Church in Merrill.
The wide-range, church-planting network; On Wisconsin, is accommodating Rich for his two-year position.
Rich was raised in a Christian home near Cape Canaveral, Florida. He accepted Jesus as his Savior at age four and first sensed a call to Christian ministry in high school.
Rich attended Clearwater Christian College and Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. Following his May graduation from the seminary, Rich, wife Rachel and young daughter Evie, established their home in the Merrill community.
Rich Verano will work under the supervision of Pastor Andy Perry as he is supported by the members and friends of Bible Presbyterian Church. During deliberate and robust mentoring by Pastor Andy, Rich looks forward to experiencing a wide array of ministry skills.
Rich and Rachel Verano feel drawn to ministry in the upper Midwest, particularly to small towns and rural areas with little gospel witness. The Merrill area is an ideal setting for Rich’s continued growth and development.
