On June 7-9, the Merrill 10u traveling baseball team took first place in the Merrill Baseball Association’s home tournament. The Jays went undefeated all weekend, beating D.C. Everest 12-1 on Friday, Tomahawk 15-9 and Stevens Point 15-2, both on Saturday. The Jays then moved on to the championship game, where they defeated Medford 17-1 on Sunday.
