Marilyn A Hirsch-Mellon

Marilyn A Hirsch-Mellon, age 75 of Hoffman Estates, IL; died Jan 29, 2018 while at The Grove of Northbrook, Health Care Facility in Northbrook Illinois.

 

Marilyn was born Oct 18, 1942 in Washington D.C. to the late Donald E. and Ellyn M. Hirsch of Wausau WI.  Marilyn was the second of three children.

 

She married and divorced Virgil L Frey, David R Fuller and Larry Gant.  Lastly she married Steve M Mellon in 2003.

 

Marilyn attended College at Northern Illinois University for only one semester before dropping out to get married and start a family.  She made and sold a number of oil paintings.

 

She was a Model for several agencies mostly in Chicago IL; she later worked as an Editor of Quality Assurance Magazine issued by Hitchcock Publishing in Wheaton IL; later worked at Vern Kiebler an Electronics manufacture also in Wheaton IL; her last job was Cab Driver for the Deluxe Cab Company of Aurora IL, mostly she was a Home Maker.

 

She was a long term member of Church of The Cross Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in Hoffman Estates IL.

 

She is survived by her Husband Steve M Mellon, Sons Daniel C Fuller of Phoenix AZ, Joseph E Von Hirsch (Brenda K Von Hirsch) their four children; her Grandchildren Nikki C Maxwell, Cory A Maxwell, Anna MK Von Hirsch and Eric J Von Hirsch and a Great-Grandchild Alexa N Maxwell, all of Merrill / Wausau WI. Additionally she is survived by her Sister-in-law Phyllis Hirsch (Martin’s Wife) of Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her parents Donald E Hirsch and Ellyn M Hirsch of Wausau WI, her older sister Bonnie M Balance of Gaithersburg MD and her twin brother Martin D Hirsch of Chicago.

 

A memorial service will be held at Church of The Cross Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in Hoffman Estates on Sat Feb 3, 2018 at 11:00am.  And an additional memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Wausau, WI on Fri Feb 9, 2018 at 7:30pm.
