It feels good to be undefeated, but that just means we have to work all the harder to stay on top.  The team is working very hard and and having a fun time in the pool.

“Some good times by new swimmers, personal bests by Freshmen Hanke, Begotka, Ristau and Carstenson with two personal bests,” comments head coach Theresa L’Esperance. “New sophomores, Zehner and Johnson also had personal bests. Sophomores Katie Volz and Megan Marcks keep challenging each other to swim their best. They both had personal bests in the butterfly.”

“We have three big meets in the next two weeks. Medford is showing some nice sprinting times and competing at the DI Jaguar Invite in Ashwaubenon will showcase some the states best swimmers.”

The Hatchet swimmers will travel to Medford on Thursday, Sept. 15 for a meet at 5:30 p.m. The next day they will travel to Lawrence University for a two-day meet.
