Felony charges filed Lincoln County Circuit Court

Dale C. Stichmann, 52, Tomahawk- was charged May 31 with Felony-Aggravated Battery Intending to cause Bodily Harm and misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct. According to court records, Stichman was involved in an altercation May 28 in the City of Tomahawk, in which he reportedly struck the victim several times causing an eye to be swollen shut and lacerations on the face causing bleeding. Stichmann and the victim both indicated having been consuming alcohol when according to Stichmann, the victim made remarks of Stichmann being unable to “finish a fight.” At that point, Stichmann reportedlty struck the victim.

Michael R. Nelson, 41 Merrill- was charged June 1 with Misdemeanor Receiving or Concealing Stolen Property valued under $2,500. According to court records, Nelson was involved in an incident in the city of Merrill on May 31, in which he reportedly removed copper wire from a local contractor site, without the contractor’s permission. Nelson then reportedly attempted to sell the wire at a local recycler and happened to be in the process of the sale when the wire was reported stolen. Nelson reportedly received $240.80 for the wire.

Anthony M. Zierahn, 34, Merrill-was charged May 31 with Felony-Substantial Battery Intending to cause Bodily Harm and misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct. According to court records, Zierahn was involved in an incident in the city of Merrill on May 28, during which he reportedly struck the victim with a ball hitch before fleeing on foot.
