Paulette Ann (Harder) Pinegar, age 58, died Friday, July 3, 2015 in her apartment under family and Ministry Hospice care.
Paulette was born in Merrill on December 4, 1956 to John E. H. and the late Pauline G. Harder. She was married to Chris Pinegar in North Carolina in 1973. They had one son, John J. Pinegar and later divorced.
Paulette worked at Kolbe and Kolbe for two years, for a short time at Wire Products and the deli at Drew’s Piggly Wiggly. Paulette loved to crochet, read books, do jigsaw puzzles, and her dog Starr.
Paulette is survived by her son, John (Shawn) Pinegar; three grandchildren, Jason, Alexandra, and Samantha, all of Merrill; her father John E. H. Harder; three brothers, Lyndon Harder, Derek (Mary) Harder, both of Merrill, J. (Sherri) Harder of Rhinelander; two sisters, Denise (Mark) Rehwinkel and Nicolette Barnett (Darryl Hinz), both of Merrill; fifteen nieces and nephews: Chris Harder of Gleason, James (Kristi) Harder of Onalaska, Freedom Hinson (Angie Massa) Dylan Harder, Brook Harder, Derek Schotz, David Crowell, all of Merrill, Ashley Randall, Amber Randall, Shawn Harder and Pauline Harder, all of Rhinelander, Dustin Harder (Angela Hernandez), Matthew Barnett and Nathan Barnett (Jen Mohr), all of Merrill, and Laura (Trevor) Dunwoody of Fargo, North Dakota; several step and great nieces and nephews. Paulette is preceded in death by her mother, Pauline G. (Marnholtz) Harder and several aunts and uncles. She will be greatly missed by all who knew here.
Family held a private memorial service for her at AmericInn on Tuesday, July 7, 2015.
