Later this summer, Dollar Tree Inc. will be opening a new 9,000 square foot store at the former 3’s Company location at 3201 E. Main Street. Upon completion, the existing Dollar Tree store will be moving out of its strip mall location by Piggly Wiggly to the new location.
Dollar Tree stores are open seven days a week and offer a broad assortment of merchandise from seasonal decor, household products, party and craft supplies to dinnerware, school necessities and health and beauty essentials. A store of this size typically employs 12 to 20 associates, according to Dollar Tree Corporate Headquarters in Chesapeake, VA.
“Dollar Tree continues to grow and we are proud to be part of the Merrill community,” stated Kayleigh M. Painter, Dollar Tree’s Investor and Media Relations Manager. The new location is projected to open in late July or early August this year.
