T.B Scott Library Presents: “The Art of Fly Tying & the Perfect Catch”

Join us Tuesday, April 30, at 6 p.m. for an artful evening of fly tying with Bill Sherer of We Tie It Fly Shop. Tying flies to catch fish has been an age old skill sought after by many anglers. Those that tie flies will tell you there is nothing more satisfying than catching a fish on a bait you created.
Bill Sherer, owner of We Tie It Fly Shop in Boulder Junction, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in Plant and Earth Science. He has been the owner and operator of Bill Sherer’s We Tie It Fly Shop for 20+ years and an Outdoor Education Instructor for Nicolet College. Bill has been teaching continued education courses on the topic of fly fishing and fly tying, and has an extensive background in all things “fish.” We are excited to have him at the T.B. Scott Free Library.
Fooling a fish in its natural habitat with your own creation is undoubtedly the pinnacle of the sport! Learn Fly Tying from an expert while overlooking the Prairie River!
