Church Mutual Insurance Company in August donated $25,000 through its foundation to the American Red Cross in response to historic flooding that began in mid-August in Louisiana.
The Merrill-based company’s employees also donated nearly 1,000 pounds of clothing and toiletries to the victims.
Red Cross disaster teams, as of mid-September, remained in Louisiana providing support and operating shelters, according to the Red Cross.
