U.S. Representative Tom Tiffany (R-Wis.) recently announced that his district office is accepting submissions for the 2026 Congressional Art Competition.
A release from Tiffany’s office said all students in the 7th Congressional District in 7th through 12th grades are invited to participate.
“The Congressional Art Competition gives students in the 7th District the opportunity to show what Wisconsin means to them through their artistic eye,” Tiffany said. “Each year, I am impressed with the quality of submissions my office receives, and I know this year will be no different.”
The winning student from the 7th District will have their piece hung in the United States Capitol for one year and will have the opportunity to attend a congressional reception in Washington, D.C. Other winners of the competition will have their artwork displayed in Tiffany’s Wausau and D.C. offices.
The release said entries must demonstrate a Wisconsin theme, and submissions must be mailed or hand-delivered to Tiffany’s Wausau office (2620 Stewart Ave., Suite 312, Wausau, Wis., 54401) by Friday, April 10, 2026, at 5 p.m.
Each entry must be original in concept, design, and execution and may not violate U.S. copyright laws, according to the release.
