MAPS accepts April donations

The following donations were approved and/or accepted at the April 15, 2026, Merrill Area Public Schools (MAPS) Board of Education meeting:
Money from Merrill Area United Way valued at $892.50 for the MAPS Nests; a monetary gift from Courtney Busterud/Church Mutual Insurance Co. valued at $100 for the Nest at Merrill High School (MHS); cash from an anonymous donor valued at $100 for MAPS Nest funds and providing students with basic needs; a monetary gift from Emily Gibson through the Associated Bank Charities Aid Foundation valued at $250 for the MHS Nest; a check from the Devil’s Creek Stump Jumpers Snowmobile Club valued at $100 for helping MAPS families with food service balances; funds from Wells’ A&W in Merrill valued at $200 for supporting the MHS DECA with the State competition; a check from Mark & Irene Mehlos valued at $1,000 for enrichment activities at Washington Elementary School; cash from Tyler Morger valued at $50 for the MAPS Food Service; money from the Class of 1970 valued at $1,000 for the MHS Feed the Jays Food Pantry; and assorted binders, file folders, and office supplies from Rebekah Luedtke at Wisconsin County Forests Association valued at approximately $100.
