Stephanie Ann Yonke-Boehm

Stephanie Ann Yonke-Boehm passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 2nd, 2021.  She had just celebrated her 35th birthday on March 27th, 2021.  Stephanie loved having a busy life that revolved around her family and friends, but her boys were her pride and joy, Dayton Kottke (age 8) and Kayson Boehm (age 6), along with her life partner Daniel Boehm.  She enjoyed various at home business endeavors that allowed her to be a stay-at-home mom.  One of which was Norwex and most recently a top Sweet Minerals beauty consultant doing business as Sweet Glam by Stephanie.  She graduated from Northcentral Technical College in 2015 with an advanced early childhood education degree, which she used to provide in home day care for many area children.  She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church and school in Merrill.  Knowing the medical and social challenges of having a child with a Cleft palate, she became an active founding member of an online cleft group.  Steph loved going up north to the Boehm’s cottage, spending time on the water and making pudgie pies and s’mores by a fire either there, at Mom’s, or with the family at home.  She had a love for animals, especially pit bulls as she associated herself with them because of their fierce exterior but kind and loyal heart.  Steph had a lot of highs and lows in her life, but everything came full circle for her when she and Dan made Vows of Promise to each other on October 13, 2018 in the Town of Corning where they had made their home.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Boehm, and her boys, Dayton Alan Kottke and Kayson Daniel Boehm. Her loving parents, Matthew and Sharon Grimm, brothers, Matthew Yonke and Ronnie Grimm, sister, JaCey Yonke and loved in laws, Lee and Mary Lou Boehm, sister-in-law, Jennifer (Ryan) Podeweltz, nieces, Kelly Yonke and Isabelle and Delana Podeweltz, grandparents she loved so much, Roger and Shirley Yonke and Pauline Grimm. Her birth father, David Yonke, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.   She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Ronald J Grimm and Ronald R Lemmer and her grandma, Angie Lemmer, who she loved and had a special bond with.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 10th, 2021 at Waid Funeral Home in Merrill from 9:00am to time of service, officiated by Pastor Joel Danner of Immanuel and St Paul Lutheran Church.  The service will begin at 12:00pm, followed by a celebration of life at the Corning Town Hall immediately after. Social distancing and masks are required at the funeral home.   The service will be recorded and posted under her obituary on the funeral home website after the service.   Waid Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Merrill is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences are encouraged and may be made at www.waidfuneral.com.

Stephanie my beautiful girl you will always and forever be my favorite daughter. You were loved and will be missed much. Be in Peace in Heaven till we meet again. Love Mom.
