02-15-2021
At 9:18 p.m., a caller reported a domestic disturbance had taken place earlier in the day. Officers met with the involved parties. The female had a black eye and bruising on her arm. The male denied a physical altercation had taken placed and claimed it was only verbal. The male was arrested for domestic battery.

02-16-21
At 10:59 a.m., a property owner wished to turn over some drug paraphernalia following the eviction of his prior tenants.
At 2:02 p.m., a male was arrested for a probation violation at the request of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
At 5:22 p.m., an officer investigated a minor vehicle crash in a parking lot.
At 11:51 p.m., officers were dispatched to a hotel in reference to an active fight. A female had entered the hotel screaming for help. The involved male was reportedly outside of the hotel in the parking lot. The male left in the female’s vehicle prior to officers arriving. The female reported the male had placed his arm across her neck in the vehicle, inhibiting her breathing after she refused to drive him to Wausau to purchase drugs. He then ordered her to allow him to drive her vehicle,e which she refused. The female entered the hotel after the male had battered her. An officer located the vehicle and suspect a short time later, and he was arrested for strangulation/suffocation, battery, probation violation, and operating motor vehicle without owner’s consent.

02-17-2021
At 12:41 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for operating without license plates. The officer identified the driver and discovered the driver had a warrant through Lincoln County. The driver was arrested on the warrant and transported to jail.

02-18-2021
At 2:27 a.m., officers were dispatched to a medical emergency where a female party reported being thrown to the ground by a male party during an argument, causing an injury to her head. Officers were able to locate the male party. After running the male party, it was discovered he had multiple warrants through Lincoln County. The male party told officers he also had methamphetamine in his pocket. The male was arrested for the warrants, possession of methamphetamine, battery, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
At 5:54 p.m., an officer was dispatched to a theft complaint where it was reported that a package was stolen from outside a residence. The investigation is ongoing.

At 1:52 p.m., a crash was reported on Riverside Ave. A vehicle lost control on some ice and struck two mailboxes. A crash report was completed.
At 3:47 p.m., a caller requested assistance removing a female from his residence, who was no longer welcomed there. The female departed without incident upon contact with officers.
At 7:23 p.m., an officer patrolling located a vehicle that had left the roadway and struck a stop sign. The driver was cited for no proof of insurance, and a crash report was completed.
At 11:23 p.m., a male reported to the Police Department, requesting an officer contact his brother in Wausau to pick him up, as he did not have a phone to do so himself. The male wished to remove himself from his residence, following an argument with his girlfriend. The brother could not be contacted, and the male agreed to spend the night at the homeless shelter.

At 4:27 a.m., an officer located a female leaving a gas station that he recognized as having warrants for her arrest. The female was arrested for those warrants.
At 5:11 a.m., a caller reported a vehicle was stuck in a snow bank and possibly had struck a power pole. When the officer arrived on scene, the vehicle was no longer on scene. It did not appear the vehicle had struck the power pole, except possibly with a side mirror. It was clear this was a reportable crash based on debris left on scene. A running board was collected from the roadway and disposed of.
At 8:57 a.m., a caller reported finding a bank bag with cash inside. The cash was turned over to officers who were able to determine through the bank who the money belonged to. The money was returned to the owner.
At 12:40 p.m., a caller reported a fight between two adult brothers at a residence. The caller had departed. Officers made contact with one male, who reported he was at the residence alone and was upset but denied there being a fight. Officers departed and a short time later were dispatched to another residence, as this same male was reportedly there causing problems. Officers spoke again with him after he had gotten into a verbal argument with another male at the residence. The man was told he was not welcomed at the residence. A short time later officers were called back yet again after the male returned to the residence, reportedly trying to make entry. Officers located the man a short distance away, and he was advised he was being arrested for disorderly conduct. The man resisted officers’ attempting to arrest him. He was taken into custody for disorderly conduct, resisting officers, bail jumping, and probation violation.
At 2:06 p.m., a male was reported to be trespassing at the Scott mansion. It was found there had been a misunderstanding and the man was there in a business capacity. He left without issue.
At 8:52 p.m., an officer observed a driver intentionally accelerating his vehicle, causing the tires to squeal and rear end to fishtail. The driver stated he was upset following a disagreement with his ex-girlfriend. He was cited for unnecessary acceleration.

At 1:32 a.m., a tavern reported a male had entered the business with cuts to his face and reported he had put his vehicle in the ditch. It was further reported the man was highly intoxicated, as evidenced by him passing out on the bar stool.
Officers located the man’s vehicle stuck in snow off W. Main St. The man was transported to the police department to complete field sobriety tests, and as a result of his performance on those tests, was arrested for operating while intoxicated. The vehicle had sustained damage, and a crash report was completed.
At 2:10 a.m., a caller reported he received a phone call in which the caller told him they would be at his residence in ten minutes to end his life and something about something he supposedly purchased from Columbia. A moment later he received a call from the same number, and a female reported she was his neighbor and inquired if he was interested in favors from her. This was found to be a group of young adults making prank phone calls. The caller did not wish any enforcement action taken against them.
At 3:00 p.m., a caller reported they had witnessed a vehicle strike a telephone pole and leave the scene. The caller recognized the driver. Officers located her at her place of employment. She admitted to striking the pole, reporting she left so as not to be late for work. She was cited for hit and run and driving too fast for conditions. The pole sustained damage, and the phone company sent someone to make necessary repairs.
At 4:40 p.m., a business reported a male had been in their parking lot for an extended period of time and the driver was slumped over the steering wheel. Contact was made with the man who displayed characteristics indicative of drug use. He agreed to field sobriety tests and, as a result of those tests, he was arrested for operating while intoxicated 3rd offense. He was transported to the jail for possession of methamphetamine based on an earlier case he was involved with.
At 11:56 p.m., dispatch received a 911 hang-up call. An officer went to the residence to ensure there was not an emergency. A female came to the door who the officer recognized as having warrants for her arrest. The officer informed the female of these warrants and she acknowledged she was aware of them. She then fled into the residence. The officer ordered her to stop and followed her inside where she was arrested for resisting an officer, two counts of bail jumping, and for her warrants.
