Thursday morning, the Lincoln County Forestry, Land & Parks Department announced the closure of all southern Lincoln County Snowmobile and Winter ATV trails, effective as of 8 a.m Saturday morning.
According to a press release issued by the department; a”Lincoln County’s funded snowmobile and winter ATV trails (county administered trails) in zones 2,3 and 4, will close as of 8 a.m. on Saturday March 7. Zone 1 trails will remain open for the time being, but trails may be rough and icy in some areas.”
All ATV trails in zone 1 are closed to winter ATV use when the temperature is above 28 degrees F.
Be aware of “Trail Closed” signs, stay on marked trails only and respect private land.
