For little more than the price of a movie, you can experience gut-busting live comedy that will have you rolling in the aisles right here in Merrill! Les & Jim’s Lincoln Lanes has for the fifth straight year put together a series of five hilarious live stand-up comedy shows featuring 10 of the Midwest’s funniest comedians. Owner Mark Bares says that although the shows are not for children, these talented comedians will be delivering smart, witty comedy.
Nov. 9 brings comedians Tim Harmstom and Chris Maddok to Les & Jim’s in Merrill. Tim Harmston started doing comedy in 2002 in Minneapolis. In 2003, Tim won Acme Comedy Company’s Funniest Person in the Twin Cities competition. Tim is currently working as a nationally touring comedian making people, just like you, laugh in some of the best clubs and theaters from Los Angeles to New York City. He has made TV appearances on Late Show with David Letterman, Comedy Central, and NBC’s Last Comic Standing.
Opening for Tim is the very funny Chris Maddock. Chris is a stand up comedian from the Land of Sun Kissed Beer Guts, Stilwater, MN, living in Minneapolis. Known affectionately by his friends as “The Ol’ Mad Dogger,” Chris has performed across the country.
