Kristi Krombholz, the lead tick disease investigation nurse at Lincoln County Health Department, urges people to learn more about tick disease.
“We live in Wisconsin, there are ticks here!” she said. “I follow up with many people that think their aches and pains are part of getting older and sometimes spend months or even years in pain before being diagnosed with a tick disease.”
