Spring Wildflower Hike

The Northwoods Chapter of the Ice Age Trail Alliance is holding their Annual Guided Spring Wildflower Hike this Saturday, May 11, 2024, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Ice Age Trailhead on Turtle Lake Rd.
The hike will take place in the beautiful hills and rolling hardwoods of the Harrison Hills in Lincoln County, and participants will learn the names of all of the wildflowers along the way. The terrain will be hilly and moderately difficult.
To get to the starting point, take Hwy. 51 to Hwy. J at Irma, then go east on Hwy. J for five miles to Turtle Lake Rd. Go north for three miles on Turtle Lake Rd. to the Ice Age Trailhead. Follow the Ice Age Trail event signs.
If coming from the east, take Hwy. 17 to Hwy. J at Bloomville, then go west on Hwy. J to Turtle Lake Rd. and turn right. Follow the Ice Age Trail event signs.
