The most significant event this week was a call to E. 6th St. and Memorial Dr. in Merrill for an arching and sparking power line on Friday, May 3, 2024, which disrupted power for residents in part of the city for several hours. The incident occurred just after 5 p.m. Wisconsin Public Service was able to restore power around 8 p.m.
