What better way to celebrate the long-awaited winter snow than by getting out there and having fun with it? That’s exactly what Merrill kids (and grownups, too) did when the area finally got a good dumping of snow in late March. Look at all the creativity and smiles! You can almost hear the laughter just from looking at the photos. Celebrate winter while it lasts!

He did this in a light rain! ????? He used his brother’s hat and gloves (that didn’t go over well??), rocks as eyes (we hope they don’t get run over by the lawn mower this summer), and a half of a carrot for the nose! Took most the day to warm up! It is better than video games?????proud of our Lando!” Caption and photo submitted by Aimee Joy Knospe.“Hard work” by an 8-year-old, 6-year-old, and 5 1/2-year-old!
