Christine Joy (Bohman) Benson, 64, of Westville FL, formally of Merrill, passed away January 24, 2024 at Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola FL. She was born December 25, 1959 to Kermit and Kathleen (Bohman) Swope at Holy Cross Hospital in Merrill, WI. She married Mark Benson July 28, 1979. She enjoyed collection owls and roosters. Mark and Christine always had their house decorated very nice for Christmas and entered the Annual Christmas Decorating Contest in Merrill often.
Survivors include one daughter: Cindy (James) Cook and one son: Norman Jo Benson both of Westville FL. Three grandchildren: Jock, Kristin and Prisella. Four great grandchildren: Leo, Bella, and Wyatt, Weston. Three sisters Rhonda of Merrill, Mary of Irma and Geri of MI., one brother: Jeff of WI. She was preceded in death by her husband Mark on 11-03-2013.
Services were held at the Joel D. Davis Funeral Home in DeFuniak Springs FL.
