Hooray for Hollywood! And Hooray for Merrill, because Empire Trio will take the stage at the Merrill High School Auditorium on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024, at 7 p.m. as part of the Merrill Concert Association’s (MACA) 2023-24 season.

Blending the sights and sounds of Hollywood, Empire Trio will perform the most beloved and famous songs of Hollywood from the 1930s to the 1990s. Performing songs from Casablanca, James Bond, Titanic, and The Wizard of Oz, they will also share stories about the great singers who performed those songs, from Judy Garland and Frank Sinatra to Céline Dion and Barbra Streisand. Promising to take you back in time musically, this highly entertaining show is performed by a uniquely talented classical crossover ensemble, featuring piano, violin, and three vocalists.
