UW-Whitewater announces Dean’s List

A total of 3,757 students earned a spot on the Dean’s List at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater for the 2023 fall semester.
Area students named to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Dean’s List for the 2023 fall semester include:

  • Reed Dombeck
  • Nicole Grawey
  • Caitlynn Pehlke
    These students have demonstrated their academic abilities by receiving a grade point average (GPA) of 3.4 or above in a single semester.
    “Making the Dean’s List is a tremendous honor. It is a recognition of our students’ hard work and commitment to success,” said John Chenoweth, who serves as UW-Whitewater’s provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs. “We are proud of our students and hope to see their names on the list again. Congratulations to all who were recognized!”

Burgener named to SNHU President’s List

Abigail Burgener of Merrill was named to Southern New Hampshire University’s (SNHU) Fall 2023 President’s List. The fall terms run from September to December.
Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum GPA of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

Local students named to Dean’s List at UW-Superior

Two local students – Destiney Wampole of Athens and MaKayla Golisch of Merrill – were named to the University of Wisconsin-Superior Dean’s List for academic achievement during the Fall 2023 semester. To be named to the Dean’s List, students must have completed 12 degree-seeking semester credits and achieved at least a 3.50 GPA (on a 4.0 scale).

UW-Stevens Point undergraduates honored for scholastic achievement

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point honored more than 2,500 undergraduate students for attaining high GPAs during the fall semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. Full-time undergraduates who earned GPAs of 3.90 to 4.0 (4.0 equals straight A) get the highest honors designation. High honor citations go to those with GPAs from 3.75 to 3.89 and honor recognition is accorded to those with GPAs from 3.50 to 3.74.
Personalized certificates of scholastic achievement are sent to those who earned highest honors distinction.

Winona State University announces the graduation list for Fall Semester 2023

Two area strudents graduated from Winona State University in Fall 2023. Katrina Fredrickson of Marathon graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing Summa Cum Laude and a Bachelor of Science in Spanish Summa Cum Laude, and Morgan Schaefer of Merrill graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing Cum Laude.

Winona State University announced Dean’s List for Fall Semester 2023

Winona State University announced area students were named to the Dean’s List for Fall Semester 2023. To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must be an undergraduate enrolled full-time (at least 12 credit hours for a grade) and achieve a minimum GPA of 3.5.

UW-Madison announces fall Dean’s List

The University of Wisconsin-Madison recognized students named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must complete a minimum of 12 graded degree credits in that semester. Each university school or college sets its own GPA requirements for students to be eligible to receive the distinction.

Two Merrill students named to Dean’s List at St. Norbert College

Peter Breitwisch and Elizabeth Hartson, both of Merrill, were named to the 2023 fall semester dean’s list at St. Norbert College in De Pere. A minimum 3.5 GPA is required for academic eligibility.
