MAPS accepts October donations

The following donations were approved and/or accepted at the Oct. 25, 2023, Merrill Area Public Schools (MAPS) Board of Directors meeting:
Extra clothes from Lynn Roeder valued at $200 for student use at Kate Goodrich Elementary School; a check from Park City Credit Union valued at $25 for the MHS Student Council via profit shares on debit cards; a check from St. Stephens Church valued at $455 for Kate Goodrich Elementary School’s Nest; a check from David & Janet Black valued at $100 for the MHS Marching Jays; a monetary gift from Baumgart Waste Removal valued at $100 for the Merrill Tennis Team; a check from Leah Zastrow valued at $250 for the MHS Choir; the following monetary donations for the Merrill High School Cheer and sponsorship for the Youth Kids Cheer Camp: Blue Jay Taxi LLC $250, Merrill Equipment Company $100, Century 21 Best Way Realty LLC $100, O’Reilly Auto Parts $100, and Last Chance Cycles $100; funds from Aspirus Merrill Hospital valued at $850 for purchasing a sand table to be used by outside therapist providing school-based mental health services and purchasing 100 of the 5th grade Botvin Life Skills student manuals; a monetary donation from Merrill Area United Way valued at $1,000 for The Nest at MHS, PRMS, and Washington Elementary School valued at $1,000; and a monetary donation from St. Stephen’s Church valued at $680 for The Nest at Merrill High School.
