Piper Plautz and Paige Plautz, both of Merrill, are pictured with their Calumet College Bowling Team teammates. The team won the championship at the Leather Neck Bowling Invitational in Moline, Ill., on Nov. 11 and 12, 2023. They came in first out of 33 teams. Paige also took second place out of 222 women bowlers in the singles portion of the competion. Both ladies are attending Calumet College on bowling scholarships.
