The Merrill Area Concert Association (MACA) announced classical pianist Charlie Albright will be performing at the Merrill High School Auditorium at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023.
Hailed as “among the most gifted musicians of his generation” with a “dazzling natural keyboard affinity” by the Washington Post, American pianist/composer/improviser Charlie Albright has been praised for his “jaw-dropping technique and virtuosity meshed with a distinctive musicality” by The New York Times. Mixing classical with a bit of pops and some improvisation, all tied together with his relaxed and friendly stage presence, Charlie Albright will delight audiences. Albright is an official Steinway Artist.
Attendance at all Merrill Area Concert Association events is open to members only, but anyone can become a member simply by purchasing a season membership. Membership supports the association’s ongoing mission to provide live performances by professional musicians for the entertainment and betterment of the Merrill area community.
