10-23-23
At 6:04 p.m. officers were dispatched to an area business in reference to a party who was drinking and had bond conditions to not consume or possess alcohol. The party was located at the establishment drinking; she was taken into custody for bail jumping. 10-23-23
At 9:52 a.m. a female was arrested for a probation violation at the request of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
At 1:24 p.m. a student was found to be in possession of a nicotine vaping device in a restroom.
At 2:40 p.m. a student was found to be in possession of nicotine pouches.

10-24-23
At 4:39 a.m. a convenience store reported a male had been in the store for an extended period of time. They discovered he had eaten various items inside the store without paying for them. Investigation is ongoing.
At 10:48 a.m. an off-duty officer found property lying along the roadside. Minutes later, the owner reported the items had slid out of his truck. The items were returned to the owner.
At 11:27 a.m. the School Resource Officer investigated two students who were found to be in possession of nicotine vaping products.
At 11:49 p.m. a caller reported ongoing harassment from a male. It was reported the caller and her fiancé were seated on a bench and the suspect made comments toward them that they couldn’t sit at the bench and later made a threat that someone would shoot them. It was further reported that the previous night the man had thrown an apple at the fiancé. The suspect was cited for disorderly conduct.

10-25-23
At 10:22 a.m. an officer took a report of brake pads being removed from a vehicle while it was parked at a residence. The investigation is ongoing.
At 3:24 p.m. an officer took a report of a theft of a bicycle.

10-26-23
At 4:06 p.m. officers responded to a report of a physical altercation that had taken place at a residence. The investigation is ongoing, but charges and/or citations will be forthcoming.
At 7:28 p.m. an officer was at a residence conducting follow up from a different investigation. While speaking with the resident, the officer observed items of drugs and drug paraphernalia in plain view. Citations were issued for possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia.
At 9:06 p.m. officers were dispatched to a business on E. Main St. after staff found a male subject staying in the business after the business had been closed for the day. During the course of the investigation, it was found the male subject had taken several items from the store, as well. The male admitted to staying in the business for the past two nights. He was arrested for disorderly conduct and theft.
At 9:13 p.m. an officer was dispatched to a business after staff observed a male subject leaving the store with items he had not paid for. Staff recognized the suspect, as he had been caught taking items from the store previously. The suspect left prior to officers arriving. The male subject will be referred to the District Attorney for charges of retail theft.

10-27-23
At 6:47 a.m. a caller reported a female at a residence who had a warrant for her arrest through Wood County. Contact was made with the female, and she was arrested for the warrant.
At 8:30 a.m. a male was arrested for a probation violation at the request of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

10-28-23
At 4:07 p.m. a store reported a female was at their store on the phone with someone who was attempting to defraud her. The scammer was telling the female they had her daughter in Mexico and were demanding money for her release. The officer explained this was a scam and the female did not send any money to the scammer. Investigation is ongoing.
At 4:26 p.m. a crash was reported in a business parking lot. The driver had struck a pole in the lot after a mechanical failure in the vehicle’s steering. A crash report was completed.
At 10:30 p.m. a caller reported she had either misplaced her wallet or it was stolen two days prior. She found someone attempted to use a debit card from the wallet in Wausau. Investigation is ongoing.

10-29-23
At 10:33 a.m. a caller reported a female lying in her yard, crying. Contact was made with the woman, who was found to be intoxicated and admitted to drug use. She was found to have an open bond which prohibited her from consuming intoxicants or using drugs. She was arrested for felony bail jumping.
At 5:46 p.m. a caller reported she was cleaning her garage and found an opossum had taken up residence inside. An officer was able to capture the opossum and relocated it to a wooded area.
